Flower planting
My mother, who came out in early April, and I went to buy flowers for the various urns and flower boxes. This is the first time planting flowers in Tuscany so we aren’t really sure what will work well or not. We will have to count on the advice from the gardening center folks.
We bought a lot of petunias, as well as some African daisies, fuchsia, and begonias. Due to the wisteria and lavender in abundance around the villa, I’m going to try to keep to white and purple as a color scheme for the flowers. But the fuchsia and some salmon-colored petunias throw in a splash of color.
