Even the most tech savvy among us would agree that some tech innovations are moving faster than we can understand. Although the use of generative AI seems innocuous enough, the more we learn, the more we know it is not. Using AI brings concerns regarding truth, accuracy, privacy, integrity, and environmental impact. So . . .

Absolutely no content or photos on this site was created by using generative AI. Nor was the site itself built using AI.

To be clear:

• We do not use AI-generated video, photos, or graphics. All the graphics and photos you see are done by myself, my family, or previous villa owners, who, for the most part, are not professionals in this field. 
• No content – online or hardcopy, including letters, statements, social media posts, and emails about this villa or this site – use AI generated content.
• In our effort to make our online presence as accessible as possible in our limited amount of working time, we might use a tool to generate alt text for photos; however, no alt text is saved that has not been reviewed and, in most cases, edited by a staff person. Our videos on Facebook and Instagram do have captions which are generated by AI-powered tools within their services. However, every single caption is reviewed and edited by me or a family member.
